5 pounds 8 ounces, 18 inches long

Ian and I are quite happy to introduce you to Matilda Piper.  She was born on November 14th and is quite the little peanut (as you can see).  She has loads of black hair and big grey eyes.

Getting to know each other

She is healthy, happy and doing wonderfully.  She has a calm personality and just loves to be held.  We spent some time in the hospital recovering but headed home yesterday and boy were we happy about that.

Trying out the bouncy seat for the first time

Now that we are home, we can settle into our own routine and spend sometime relaxing   Fenway is still a little confused but he has been very gentle with her.  I think they’ll end up friends.

Don’t worry this isn’t the end of my blogging, I have some posts in the works and should be able to have them up in at least a somewhat regular fashion.

  1. Congratulations!!! Enjoy her and know that as awesome and wonderful you find her, adjusting to motherhood is just that, and adjustment! Don't be afraid to let people know if you're feeling stressed, anxious, sad, etc. Totally normal stuff.

That being said, motherhood is AWESOME and babies are just so amazing! Congratulations again on your new little potato!
