We like to dream big around here. In my opinion there is nothing better than a big old dream to give you something to work towards, and you know I love a project (or 27).
So, what have we been dreaming about? let me tell you all about it.

We’ve been dreaming of the future of this little homestead (did you think it would be anything else?). Of bigger houses with lots of counter space and windows that are actually insulated. We’ve been dreaming of barns and garages and chicken coops. Then there’s the garden, its got to be bigger, and heck let’s throw in some fruit trees while we’re at it. We’ve got so many dreams that our projects have projects and that suits us just fine.

So what are we doing about all of these dreams? working that’s what. Every tiny step we take whether its paying off bills, selling another dozen eggs, or planting a few more seeds, gets us that much closer to the big dream. Does that mean we’ll ever get there? No, probably not. Besides, once one goal is met there is always another one waiting for us….and that’s just the way we like it.

Dreaming is wonderful, isn't it? It's half of the fun. And I think that the yearning that comes with dreaming reminds us that this is not our true home and helps us to dream of our final home!

Fruit Trees sound like a great idea! My dream right now is to finish my book(s)! And eventually we'd love for hubby to work from home. 🙂

Oh to convince Handsome Hubby that chickens are a good idea for us… For now I'll stick with dreaming about a big and successful garden harvest this fall!
